Static Technician (Level - I,II,III)

Job description

the employer Sustainable Technology Solutions provides holistic asset life‑cycle solutions. The company seeks Static Technicians at all levels. The technician receives jobs, work instructions, drawings and specifications from the supervisor and performs the work. Uses appropriate tools and equipment and operates heavy‑duty specialized tools from the central tool room. Operates basic machine tools such as grinder, power saw, drill press and threading machine. Performs installation and maintenance according to SATORP procedures and guidelines. Carries out necessary testing (hydro, pneumatic, etc.). Obtains required work permits before starting. Maintains strict compliance with SATORP safety standards. Consults the supervisor for any technical issues. Ensures good housekeeping during and after jobs. Completes work to quality and schedule per company standards. Complies with all safety, health and environment standards and reports near misses, unsafe conditions and acts.

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years experience in Oil & Gas maintenance
• Diploma
• strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas facilities
• proficiency with specialized tools and equipment
• ability to operate basic machine tools
• knowledge of SATORP procedures
• experience with hydro and pneumatic testing
• strict adherence to safety, health and environmental standards
• ability to obtain work permits
• good housekeeping and organization
• consultative communication with supervisor for technical issues
