Static Technician III

Job description

Job Overview: the employer is looking for a Static Technician to maintain static equipment and piping systems in good condition. Installation, maintenance, and repair of static equipment and process piping systems are carried out. Responsibilities: • Receives jobs, work instructions, drawings, and specifications as required from Supervisor and performs work. • Leads a team of Technicians. • Uses the right tools and equipment for the job and operates heavy-duty specialized tools taken from the Central tool room. • Operates basic machine tools such as a grinder, power saw, drill press, threading machine, etc. • Performs all installation and maintenance work according to SATORP procedures and guidelines. • Carries out necessary testing (Hydro, Pneumatic, etc.). • Receives necessary work permits before starting work. • Maintains strict compliance with SATORP safety standards. • Consults with Supervisor for any technical issues. • Performs good housekeeping during and after completion of jobs. • Achieves completion of jobs to quality and schedule according to company standards and requirements. • Complies with all Safety, Health, and Environment standards and procedures. • Reports all Near misses, unsafe conditions, and acts. • Attends Safety and Technical training as scheduled.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 4 years in Oil & Gas maintenance - High School
• Minimum 2 years in Oil & Gas maintenance - Diploma
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform the works
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills
