Product and Application Manager

Job description

The role leads product strategy and application excellence for Leica Biosystems' histopathology portfolio in Saudi Arabia. You will manage the Application Consultant team, drive product adoption and market penetration, and support product launches and expansion projects. You own tender response strategy and execution, including NUPCO and major institutional tenders, and conduct market feasibility assessments to identify growth opportunities. Collaboration with Sales, Service, Marketing, and Shared Services turns customer needs and market insights into clear priorities and coordinated actions. A strong hands‑on histopathology background is essential for engaging pathologists, laboratory leaders, and communicating clinical, operational, and commercial value of solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Histopathology, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Life Sciences or related field
• advanced degree is a plus
• strong hands‑on histopathology background covering tissue processing, staining, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and laboratory workflows
• 7-10 years of experience in applications, product management or commercial roles within diagnostics or life sciences
• proven experience leading and developing application or technical teams
• strong knowledge of the Saudi healthcare market including MOH and institutional customers and experience with NUPCO tender processes
• experience supporting product launches, market development and expansion projects
• ability to build credibility with pathologists and laboratory leaders and translate technical information into clear customer value
• strong communication, presentation, coaching and stakeholder management skills
• fluency in English
• Arabic is a strong advantage.
