Maintenance Head/ Specialist(Utilities)

Job description

Leads the maintenance of utilities and tank areas, ensuring corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance of mechanical, electrical and rotating equipment to guarantee availability, reliability and continuous operation in compliance with safety, environment and quality standards. Executes all contractor‑assigned maintenance tasks across disciplines; reports regularly in the CMMS system on maintenance execution; provides support for planning, scheduling and supervisory functions; prepares weekly reports and discusses them in maintenance meetings; participates in developing area strategic plans to ensure daily activities meet safety and quality standards; coordinates job‑specific training with the HR head to enhance personnel knowledge; ensures adherence to all safety requirements during job execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
• strong background in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation
• minimum 12+ years’ experience in refinery or petrochemical plant maintenance
• fluent in writing and reading English
• good knowledge of SAP system
• fair knowledge of plant process operations
• strong technical understanding of maintenance execution management
• good technical understanding of maintenance planning management
• good technical understanding of reliability management
• good technical understanding of quality management
• good technical understanding of people management
• good technical understanding of HSE requirements
• well organized and proactive
• excellent communication skills
• proven leadership skills with large organizations
