HSE Officer

Job description

We are seeking candidates for the position of HSE Officer in the Eastern Province. This role requires observing and implementing Company Health, Safety, and Environment Policies and Procedures within company premises as well as at customer and supplier sites where applicable. Additionally, it involves complying with legal and other requirements (Government Authorities, customer requirements, etc.). Key responsibilities include assisting in compliance reviews, general risk assessments, and other safety tasks, reviewing the HSE Management System and advising on required changes, writing, implementing, and managing HSE programs, policies, and procedures, and developing and implementing the project HSE MS. Other duties include developing and maintaining professional relationships with customers and legal or regulatory bodies, developing and implementing safety initiatives to continually improve, achieve, and maintain stated safety performance and objectives, monitoring the availability and use of safety the employer and equipment, conducting on-job safety training, and ensuring tool box talks are carried out and maintaining records of such talks. Arranging external HSE trainings for employees to achieve the required competency and skills for the execution of their relevant work scope and emergency responses, and instructing and communicating employees about hazards associated with work activities
