Assistant Public Area Manager

Job description

Assist the Public Area Manager in directing daily cleaning operations across all shared spaces including lobbies, restaurants, elevators and outdoor arrival areas. Conduct frequent inspections to ensure surfaces, furnishings and decorative elements meet Luxury Quality Assessment standards. Lead, coach and motivate a team of attendants and supervisors to deliver heartfelt hospitality and anticipatory service. Coordinate routine and deep‑cleaning programs such as marble polishing, carpet shampooing and special setups for VIP arrivals or events. Liaise with Engineering, Front Office and F&B to promptly address maintenance needs and guest concerns. Monitor usage and inventory of eco‑friendly cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring compliance with the resort’s sustainability and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in luxury hospitality housekeeping
• supervisory or assistant management experience
• pre‑opening experience including project coordination and document control
• proficiency in property management systems like Opera
• deep knowledge of specialized cleaning techniques for high‑end finishes
• proactive, anticipatory approach with impeccable grooming
• strong sense of ownership and accountability
