Security Agent

Job description

Conduct regular patrols of guest areas, public zones, back‑of‑house spaces, parking and other designated locations. Monitor hotel entrances, exits, access points and restricted areas, ensuring only authorized persons enter. Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies and guest or colleague concerns. Observe and report any suspicious activity, safety hazards or unusual behavior. Assist guests and staff with security matters in a courteous manner. Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain daily security logs. Coordinate with the CCTV Operator and Security Control Room on incidents and observations. Support emergency procedures such as fire alarms, evacuations, medical emergencies and other incidents per hotel protocol. Inspect doors, emergency exits, fire equipment and other security‑sensitive areas, reporting any irregularities. Aid investigations by providing relevant information and cooperating with authorized departments. Control and monitor movement of employees, contractors, visitors and deliveries according to hotel procedures. Ensure lost‑and‑found items are handled and recorded per policy. Maintain strict confidentiality of guest information, hotel operations, security incidents and investigations. Complete all security checklists, logs and reports accurately and on time. Follow all hotel security, safety, fire‑prevention and emergency procedures. Perform any other duties assigned by the Security Supervisor or Security Management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• previous experience in a security role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment
• basic knowledge of security procedures, emergency response and fire safety
• good observation and attention to detail
• strong communication and interpersonal skills
• ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies or challenging situations
• physically fit and able to stand and walk for extended periods
• high level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
• basic computer skills and ability to complete security reports and records
• ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays
