Operations and Production Manager

Job description

An emerging Saudi company announces the availability of a job vacancy: Director of Operations and Production - Riyadh Garment Factory Nationality: Available to Saudis and non-Saudis Years of experience: 5-8 years, including at least two years in a supervisory or administrative position within a production environment

Requirements

• Actual practical experience in Production Planning & Scheduling and distributing daily and weekly production plans
• Preference will be given to those who have previously worked in a factory for ready-made clothing, abayas, fashion, or tailoring and textile production
• Factories that produce multiple models and orders, rather than a production line dedicated to just one product, may be considered for experience
• Managing and following up on production teams and the stages of cutting, sewing, finishing, and quality control (QC).
• Experience managing production-related customer orders, not just production in stock quantities
• Measuring production capacity, identifying operational bottlenecks, and analyzing and addressing the causes of delays
• Establish and follow up on KPIs, such as productivity, lead time, on-time completion, defect rates, and rework
• Experience in using ERP, MRP or production management systems, with very good command of Excel
