Cost Control Engineer

About the role: the employer is seeking a Cost Control Engineer to join its team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full‑time position involves analyzing project requirements and specifications to determine costs and ensure efficient use of budgets. Key responsibilities include controlling and monitoring total project expenditure and verifying invoices and claims from suppliers and subcontractors; providing planning and cost control support for all projects, including variation reporting, milestone progress monitoring, and customer billing; scheduling and monitoring project activities and conducting technical and commercial tender reviews; ensuring effective project implementation using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to track purchases, invoicing, and delivery until closure; coordinating with the project management team to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery; preparing monthly cost reports and managing a cost control dashboard; calculating and reporting accruals and capitalization costs to Finance; complying with the employer safety and cybersecurity policies
