Job description

The Chief Specialist – Accelerating Asset Ramp-up helps Ma’aden bring mining and processing assets to stable, productive operation faster. The role connects technology, operational expertise, data and analytics to address constraints that delay commissioning, stabilization and early performance. It identifies high‑impact opportunities in throughput, recovery, uptime, cost and production readiness and translates them into practical interventions. Works across Operations, Technology & Innovation, Data & AI and project stakeholders to strengthen the transition from commissioning to reliable operations and embed repeatable approaches for future asset ramp‑ups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mining, Metallurgy, Industrial Engineering or related discipline
• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous
• 12+ years of relevant experience in mining, mineral processing or comparable heavy industry environments
• Significant exposure to asset commissioning, operational ramp‑up, stabilization and performance improvement
• Experience delivering operational value through digital, analytics or technology‑enabled initiatives
• Experience working across multidisciplinary operational, technical, project and technology stakeholders
• Knowledge of asset ramp‑up and commissioning optimization
• Knowledge of mining and processing operational excellence
• Knowledge of production performance and bottleneck analysis
• Knowledge of advanced analytics and digital enablement
• Knowledge of value realization and benefits management
• Knowledge of performance management and KPI design
• Skill in strategic problem‑solving
