Transport Officer

Job description

Responsible for managing and optimizing transportation and logistics operations for finished vehicles, ensuring vehicle and shipment movement with efficiency, effectiveness, and low cost. Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily transportation activities. Manage FVL operations including dispatching vehicles, allocating carriers, coordinating loading and unloading, scheduling deliveries, and proof of delivery. Coordinate with carriers, logistics service providers, drivers, agents, customers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders. Monitor transportation and FVL costs and analyze them against budgets and forecasts. Identify cost‑saving opportunities by optimizing routes, utilizing the fleet, and consolidating shipments. Prepare and track performance indicators and produce regular reports
