Job description

Key role in scheduling and cost control for engineering and construction projects. Understands field concepts, practices, procedures and legal compliance. Provides services from feasibility studies through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and O&M. Works in an innovative team where ideas are valued and collective success drives the future.

Requirements

• 5 years experience as Scheduler for EPC projects in MENA or worldwide
• proficient in Primavera P6
• intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
• knowledge of work scope, quantities and logical sequences across engineering, procurement, manufacturing and construction
• understanding of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for progress measurement, scheduling, cost estimating and project control
• knowledge of contractual matters, earned value method, scope management and change control
• ability to analyze contractual issues, perform delay analysis and determine claim entitlement
• Bachelor's degree in related engineering preferred
• review and analyze subcontractor progress reports
• conduct monthly delay analysis and prepare detailed deviation reports
• identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation
• maintain project delay register
• coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to resolve scheduling conflicts
• develop recovery plans for delays
• ensure schedules align with contract requirements and company objectives
• use Primavera P6 or MS Project to monitor and update schedules
• support claims and extension of time assessments
• generate progress and forecast reports for management
