Job Summary the employer is looking for an experienced Civil Substation Site Engineer for a full-time position, Saudi Arabia. This role includes supervising and executing civil construction activities for GIS substations, ensuring adherence to project specifications, SEC standards, quality requirements, safety systems, and project timelines. The ideal candidate will have experience, specifically in SEC substation projects. Role and Responsibilities The Site Engineer will be responsible for the implementation and supervision of civil works for substation projects 380 kV. This includes managing various construction activities and ensuring coordination with relevant stakeholders. Implementation and supervision of civil works for 380 kV substation projects. Management of construction activities, Including foundations, cable trenches, control buildings, boundary walls, roads and drainage works. Coordination with subcontractors, consultants and customer representatives. Ensure compliance with SEC standards, approved drawings, QA/QC requirements and HSE regulations. Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly reports. Support inspections and information requests. Required Qualifications and Experience Candidates for this position must have specific experience and knowledge in substation civil construction projects, Especially in the context of Saudi Arabia. 8 - 12 years of experience in substation civil construction projects. -Mandatory experience in Saudi Electricity Company projects. Strong knowledge of GIS substations and civil enforcement and SEC standards. Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate site activities effectively. Preferred Candidate Profile Some additional experience and qualifications are beneficial for this role, enhancing the candidate's suitability. Experience in EPC sub-projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Exposure to SEC, National Grid SA or major utility projects. Proven track record of delivering substation civil works safely, on budget and on schedule. Immediate availability with SEC approval or transferable residency will be an added advantage.
