Job description
Serve as the primary contact within the design team for technical issues related to water and irrigation networks. Design and plan primary and secondary pressurized networks. Provide support for other engineering activities as required. Compute water demands and requirements. Develop efficient, cost-effective pressurized network designs that meet all requirements. Prepare site plans, design reports, specifications, and cost estimates. Review deliverables including design reports, design submissions, and specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university/institute
- minimum 20 years experience in design of infrastructure mega projects, specifically irrigation network design
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- strong computer/software skills in WaterGEMS, LandF/x, Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Rain Cad
- experience advising clients on optimal systems, materials, products, and sustainability approaches for irrigation systems
