About the Role the employer is looking for a T&C Protection Engineer to join their team, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring facilities, equipment and plants are operating properly and meeting customer needs through comprehensive testing and commissioning activities. The Engineer will be responsible for bringing products and systems to optimal operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Test advanced main relays, standby relays and auxiliary relays and perform tasks individually for BSP projects. Run various migration software applications. Running secondary and primary current injection sets from various manufacturers. Verify protection plans in the field based on accurate knowledge. Suggest improvements and advise on operational procedures. Scheduling and coordinating work to meet tight deadlines. Identify problems and shortcomings in current systems. Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with internal and external stakeholders, and provide guidance on procedures and documentation. Produce or assist in the production of all test and commissioning documentation. Conduct testing and commissioning activities within specified time and cost parameters. Monitor progress, record all test results, witness final testing and acceptance of equipment, and compile documentation for site testing. Ensure safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve desired plant performance in line with project programmes. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. - 8-15 years of experience in testing and commissioning of EHV substations. - Experience in mesh The largest 380 kV substations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or the GCC region. Work Environment This is a full-time position based in, Saudi Arabia, with a focus on critical infrastructure projects within the region
