Structural (Design Services)

Job description

Join the employer in an innovative culture that values people and promotes growth. Review project standards, specifications, drawings and technical documents to ensure alignment with objectives. Evaluate design‑build submissions, calculations, design reports and operating manuals for client compliance. Assess contractor submittals, material selections, construction methods and subcontractor qualifications. Support the Lead Civil Engineer and Senior Structural Engineers in preparing technical reports, investigations and status updates. Assist in maintaining project budget, schedule and scope compliance. Provide structural engineering support to multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, contractors and subcontractors for timely design delivery. Attend inspections, testing and acceptance activities, respond to RFIs, and offer technical assistance on site. Identify discrepancies, evaluate challenges and recommend practical engineering solutions, and participate in safety meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction or related field
• minimum 7 years experience in engineering design and construction methodologies
• proven experience in design and delivery of major heavy civil or infrastructure projects
• in‑depth knowledge of structural mechanics and engineering design practices
• strong technical knowledge of engineering design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, Revit, CAD, WALLAP, Oasys Slope, TEDDS, SuperSTRESS, FEM
• excellent analytical, problem‑solving and coordination skills
• experience in rail, metro, transit or transportation infrastructure projects
• familiarity with Saudi Building Codes and local regulatory requirements
• proficiency in English
• proficiency in AutoCAD preferred
• prior experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
