Irrigation Inspector

Job description

the employer is seeking a detail-oriented Irrigation Inspector to oversee and ensure that irrigation systems are installed and operated according to project specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations. The Irrigation Inspector will play a key role in monitoring site activities and supporting quality assurance throughout the construction phase. Key Responsibilities • Conduct regular inspections of irrigation installations to verify compliance with design drawings, specifications, and industry standards. • Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship related to irrigation systems. • Identify and document any non-conformities or defects and recommend corrective actions. • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project teams to resolve issues and ensure timely project completion. • Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation. • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols on-site. • Assist in testing and commissioning of irrigation systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in irrigation inspection or related roles.
• Sound knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and installation methods.
• Ability to interpret design drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian codes and standards is an advantage.
