Interior Design Manager

Job description

The Interior Design Manager leads interior design efforts for high-end luxury construction projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision and luxury standards. Develops interior design concepts for luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, ensuring layouts, materials, finishes, and furnishings meet premium standards. Collaborates with architects, MEP teams, and contractors to integrate interior design smoothly with overall project design. Oversees selection and specification of high-end materials, finishes, fixtures, and custom furnishings, ensuring precision in documentation. Implements robust quality control processes, reviews design deliverables for compliance with client vision, codes, and regulations. Acts as primary client liaison for all interior design matters, presenting concepts, mood boards, and progress updates. Coordinates with project management to align design with budget and schedule without compromising luxury quality. Integrates sustainable and innovative practices, staying updated on global luxury interior design trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• minimum 15-18 years experience in interior design management with at least 10 years focused on luxury projects
• proficiency in interior design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other visualization tools
• strong knowledge of luxury materials, finishes, and bespoke furnishings with international sourcing experience
• strong communication and presentation skills for high‑profile clients and senior stakeholders
• professional certification or licensure in Interior Design (e.g., NCIDQ, ASID)
• familiarity with global luxury brands and high‑end residential, hospitality, or commercial clients
• experience in a PMC or consultancy environment
• deep understanding of local and international building codes, sustainability practices, and luxury design standards
• excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities
• keen eye for detail and deep understanding of luxury design aesthetics and craftsmanship.
