BIM Coordinator - Structural/Civil

Job description

the employer seeks a BIM Coordinator – Structural/Civil. Review MEP models and ensure QA/QC, audit incoming Structural/Civil BIM models for compliance with client EIR and project BEP, validate asset metadata and LOIN for future AIM handovers, track design progress and report non‑compliance to the PMC BIM Manager. Ensure models meet luxury design standards and coordinate with architectural, MEP and interior teams. Facilitate cross‑discipline coordination, chair BIM workshops, resolve spatial and asset interfaces, and attend regular coordination meetings. Perform clash detection using Navisworks or similar, provide BIM‑based solutions to avoid delays, implement BIM quality control, enforce ISO 19650 standards, manage design risks, and support risk mitigation. Deliver training and stay updated on BIM technologies relevant to luxury projects. Required tools include Autodesk Revit (advanced Structural/Civil modeling), Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads, Solibri, ACC/Forma, Revizto or BIMtrack.

Requirements

• Proficient in MEP technical review and QA/QC
• proficient in auditing Structural/Civil BIM models against EIR and BEP
• knowledge of asset data validation and Level of Information Need
• experience preparing compliance reports and tracking design progress
• proficient in coordinating models across architectural, structural, MEP, civil and interior disciplines
• ability to lead coordination meetings and resolve clashes using Navisworks
• knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and design risk management
• proficient with Autodesk Revit (advanced), Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads, Solibri Model Checker, ACC/Forma, Revizto or BIMtrack
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or related field
• minimum 12-15 years BIM management experience, including 10 years on high‑end luxury projects
• at least 2 years in PMC, client or lead consultant role on mega‑projects
• strong organizational and communication skills
• practical knowledge of ISO 19650 framework
• BIM management or Autodesk Revit certification preferred
• knowledge of sustainable building practices and green technologies
