Quality Inspector

Job description

The Quality Inspector performs quality assurance and quality control activities following the employer's quality management system. Validates compliance of materials and manufactured components. Conducts receiving inspections of incoming material and precision‑machined parts with tolerances less than 0.001 in. Uses manual measurement tools and fixtures for dimensional, in‑process and final inspections and prepares related reports. Works with Production to identify non‑conformances and support immediate corrective actions. Prepares Non‑Conformance and Corrective Action reports for review. Assists with surveillance of sub‑suppliers. Keeps equipment and work area clean and performs basic preventative maintenance. Adheres to Saudi law, company policies, ISO quality program, safety and environmental regulations. May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent
• 4-5 years of experience in the same industry
• proficiency with manual measurement tools and inspection fixtures
• knowledge of receiving inspection procedures and dimensional inspection reporting
• ability to prepare Non‑Conformance and Corrective Action reports
• familiarity with Saudi law, company policies and ISO quality program
• awareness of safety and environmental requirements
• oil and gas experience is an added value
• ability to follow written and oral instructions
• adaptability to changing work environment and multiple demands
• willingness to work flexible shifts and variable schedules
