Project Engineer

Job description

Follow up on the implementation of works at the site according to the engineering plans and approved technical specifications. Prepare and review periodic technical reports, and raise achievement rates to the project manager. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with timelines and availability of resources. Contribute to the preparation of timelines and work plans and follow up on compliance. Supervise the application of quality and professional safety requirements at the work site. Follow up on testing, testing and commissioning works in coordination with the concerned parties. Support technical communication with the National Grid Authority and regulatory authorities when needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• at least 5 years of practical experience in underground cable projects with a voltage of 380/132 kilovolts
• approved by the Saudi Council of Engineers
• holder of a PMP certificate or its equivalent
• site monitoring
• use of different communication channels
• review of contractors' accounts
• risk analysis
