About the role: the employer is a leading recruitment company, and we are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This key role requires a dynamic leader to oversee engineering projects and ensure their efficient execution, meeting all quality and safety standards. The Engineering Manager's primary responsibilities include: directing and managing engineering teams to deliver projects successfully on time and within budget, developing project plans, scope, timelines, and budgets to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, guiding and mentoring engineers in best practices, performance, and professional development, collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing engineering challenges and recommending solutions for improvement and efficiency, monitoring market trends and organizational requirements to keep the engineering team informed, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in all projects, and promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering department

Requirements

• Fluency in English is essential
• knowledge of Arabic is preferred
• Excel

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering in a related field, Master's degree preferred
• experience in engineering management, with a strong background in energy or construction industries
• demonstrating leadership skills and previous experience in managing engineering teams
• proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
• familiarity with the engineering landscape in Saudi Arabia and local regulations is beneficial
• relevant professional certifications (such as PMP) are an additional advantage
