Senior Program Controls Engineer - Reporting & Analytics

At the employer, the engineer will work in a hands‑on program‑level role to develop, integrate and continuously improve PMO reporting for the Roads Program. The role supports senior PMO leadership by translating schedule, progress, cost and change data into accurate, decision‑ready reports. Reporting to the Program Controls Director, the engineer will coordinate with the PMO PRC Sr. Reporting Manager, lead the preparation and enhancement of the weekly progress report, develop new reporting products and dashboards as needed, ensure reports are concise, accurate and aligned with governance, consolidate inputs from PMCMs and PMO managers, protect report integrity under tight timelines, manage PMCM reporting interfaces, work closely with discipline managers to clarify assumptions, challenge unclear or inconsistent inputs, respond rapidly to ad‑hoc client and PMO requests, produce short‑notice executive summaries and analysis under pressure, and understand reporting from the reader’s perspective.

Requirements

• experience in planning or senior planning at project/program level
• experience producing senior‑level PMO/PMC reports
• expert‑level proficiency in Primavera P6
• expert‑level proficiency in MS Power BI
• expert‑level proficiency in Excel
• expert‑level proficiency in PowerPoint
• exceptional attention to detail and internal consistency
• ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
• confidence dealing with PMCMs and senior PMO stakeholders
• ability to verify internal consistency of data before inclusion in PMO reports
• ability to translate raw technical data into material suitable for senior client consumption
• ability to present to senior client and PMO management audiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• at least 10 years experience
• excellent communication skills
