Senior Mechanical Manager

Job description

Leads the mechanical engineering team and oversees all mechanical engineering activities. Collaborates with other departments to ensure mechanical designs and systems are developed according to project specifications and industry best practices. Manages project schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and represents the mechanical department in project meetings. Requirements

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
• Proficient in relevant engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM)
• Proficient in Excel
• Proficient in project management
• Proficient in HVAC
• Proficient in plumbing
• Proficient in quality assurance
• Proficient in compliance
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering
• At least 10 years in a managerial or leadership role
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and quality assurance processes
• Solid understanding of local building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices
• Mechanical Professional Engineering License is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
