Electrical Engineer - Facilities Management

Job description

The Electrical Engineer supports the Senior MEP Engineer in managing maintenance and performance of all medium and low voltage power distribution systems within the Primary Nursery Facility at NEOM. This includes electrical substations, switchgear, distribution boards, emergency generators, UPS, lighting, and general power infrastructure. The role supervises preventive, reactive and corrective maintenance activities performed by the service provider, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, technical standards and contractual KPIs. It supports maintenance planning, monitors spare parts consumption, oversees electrical testing and commissioning, and ensures system reliability and energy efficiency. Collaboration with other engineering disciplines, especially Low Current and Mechanical teams, is essential for safe and seamless MEP operations. The Engineer assists in preparing and reviewing technical documents and maintenance reports, troubleshoots electrical faults and participates in root cause analysis. Promotes electrical safety, participates in HSE audits and corrective actions, and contributes to energy efficiency initiatives and best maintenance practices

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in electrical system design, operation, and maintenance, with good knowledge of applicable codes and standards
