Drilling Engineer

Job description

The Drilling Engineer will design and implement drilling programs, optimize drilling performance and reduce costs, collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop strategic well plans, conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations, analyze performance data and recommend improvements, and oversee drilling activities while providing technical guidance to field teams. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering or a related field, at least 10 years of drilling engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry, strong understanding of drilling technologies and equipment, proficiency in drilling software and data interpretation, analytical and problem‑solving abilities, teamwork and effective communication, fluency in English (written and verbal), and willingness to reside in Saudi Arabia and travel to field locations
