Drilling Rig Foreman

Job description

Role: Supervise field operations of land drilling and workover rigs on deep or critical wells, ensuring work is performed safely and meets contract obligations. Coordinate delivery of well materials and equipment to be available when the rig is ready. Administer contracts on site and act as primary liaison between the company and contractor. Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco safety standards, recommend alternative methods or equipment when needed, approve contractor daily reports, and maintain rig and equipment to avoid downtime. Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in drilling and workover operations
• supervisory experience on a drilling or workover rig
• extensive knowledge of drilling equipment, techniques, and safety measures
• strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• ability to work in high‑pressure environments and make quick decisions
• willingness to work in remote locations and harsh weather conditions
• proficiency in Saudi Aramco safety and blowout prevention standards
• proficiency in coordinating material deliveries
• proficiency in approving daily contractor reports
• proficiency in maintaining rig and equipment
• bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
