Drilling Rig Foreman

Job description

The role focuses on supervising land drilling and workover operations on deep or critical wells. Oversees the contract rig, manages contracts, and ensures work is performed safely according to Saudi Aramco standards. Coordinates delivery of well materials and equipment and ensures availability when needed. Monitors compliance of rig personnel and service providers with safety standards and recommends alternative methods or equipment in unusual situations. Approves contractor daily tour reports and ensures proper maintenance of rig and equipment to avoid downtime. Guarantees adherence to blowout prevention standards and emergency response procedures. Performs additional duties as directed by the supervisor

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in drilling and workover operations
• proficiency in drilling equipment and techniques
• proficiency in safety measures
• proficiency in leadership and communication
• proficiency in problem‑solving
• proficiency in high‑pressure environments
• proficiency in remote and harsh weather conditions
• proficiency in rig and equipment maintenance
• extensive knowledge of modern drilling practices
• bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
