The role involves conducting thorough FTO analyses and patent landscape reviews for potential generic product candidates prior to development and launch. Identify, assess, and quantify IP risks associated with New Drug Applications (NDAs) and Saudi Food & Drug Authority (SFDA) submissions. Provide clear, actionable, risk‑weighted recommendations to Portfolio Management, R&D, and Business Development on product selection and development strategies. Draft formal FTO opinions and manage documentation to support business decisions. Develop strategies to challenge weak or invalid patents through opposition procedures. Ensure all KSA product registrations are complete from an IP perspective for regulatory submissions

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years direct experience in an IP role, preferably in the generic pharmaceutical industry
• proficient in Excel
• experience in portfolio management
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• law degree or specialized qualification in Intellectual Property law preferred
