Project Controls Engineer

Job description

the employer is seeking a talented and motivated Project Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position plays a key role in ensuring that projects are executed on time, within budget, and to specifications. Key Responsibilities include supporting project planning and scheduling activities, assisting the client to analyze and track the variations/claims approval process, monitoring project performance, analyzing key metrics and reporting findings to stakeholders

Requirements

• Proficient in project management tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Excel
• effective communication
• Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls, ideally within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of cost control, scheduling, and risk management principles
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail
• Ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a team environment
