O&M Engineer

Job description

the employer announces the need for an O&M Engineer to work in Riyadh. The role supports safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of gas plants and pipeline systems. It focuses on plant operations, mechanical equipment maintenance, and ensuring asset integrity in compliance with safety and operational standards. Performs and supports day-to-day operations and maintenance activities for gas plants and pipelines. Monitors plant and pipeline performance to ensure safe and efficient operation. Executes preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities. Maintains mechanical equipment including static and rotary equipment such as vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, and valves. Diagnoses equipment faults and implements corrective actions to minimize downtime. Supports shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance activities. Ensures compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Prepares maintenance reports, work orders, and technical documentation. Coordinates with operations teams, contractors, and vendors during maintenance activities. Utilizes SAP PM for maintenance planning, execution, and reporting (preferred)

Requirements

• Knowledge of gas processing facilities and pipeline systems
• Expertise in mechanical maintenance practices and equipment reliability
• Excel
• SAP
• Compliance
• 5 - 8 years of experience in operations and maintenance of gas plants and pipelines
• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good understanding of safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
• Ability to work in a team-based operational environment
• Effective communication and reporting skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
