O&M Engineer

Job description

This role requires supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of gas plants and pipeline systems. The role focuses on plant operations, mechanical equipment maintenance, and ensuring asset integrity in compliance with safety and operational standards. Key responsibilities include performing and supporting day-to-day operations and maintenance activities for gas plants and pipeline systems, monitoring plant and pipeline performance to ensure safe and efficient operation, executing preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities, maintaining mechanical equipment, diagnosing equipment faults and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime, supporting shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, preparing maintenance reports, work orders, and technical documentation, and coordinating with operations teams, contractors, and vendors during maintenance activities

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Knowledge of gas processing facilities and pipeline systems
• Expertise in mechanical maintenance practices and equipment reliability
• Excel
• SAP
• Compliance
• 5-8 years of experience in operations and maintenance of gas plants and pipelines
• Proven experience in plant and pipeline operations
• Strong hands-on experience in maintenance of mechanical equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good understanding of safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
• Ability to work in a team-based operational environment
• Effective communication and reporting skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
