E&I Engineer

Job description

Responsible for safe, reliable and efficient maintenance of electrical systems and measurement equipment. Ensure system safety, support cathodic protection systems and comply with operating and safety standards. Perform maintenance and repair of electrical equipment and machine systems; maintain and monitor cathodic protection systems; conduct preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance for E&I systems; inspect, test, calibrate and maintain transmitters, control valves, analyzers and protection systems; service motors, switches, MCCs, transformers and power distribution systems; support plant and pipeline operations; participate in shutdowns, turnarounds and major maintenance activities; adhere to HSE standards and work permit requirements; prepare maintenance reports, technical documents and work orders; coordinate with operations teams, contractors and vendors; use SAP PM for planning, execution and reporting of maintenance (preferred)

Requirements

• Proven experience in cathodic protection systems
• experience designing CP systems, monitoring and troubleshooting
• proficient in SAP
• compliance with standards
• university degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• good understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures
• ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
• effective communication and reporting skills
• high attention to detail and commitment to safety and reliability
