Building Supervisor

The role involves supervising, managing, and supporting subcontractors to proceed with construction effectively in accordance with project specifications under safe conditions. Additionally, the role includes overseeing construction operations on a day-to-day basis, studying drawings, and executing work by managing labor, materials, and machinery as per daily planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• construction experience in oil/gas/petrochemical or power plants as a supervisor
• experience working in an engineering and construction company in the Middle East is preferred
• comprehensive knowledge of construction management and engineering standards
• knowledge of building structures such as Substation, Instrument Shelter, Workshop, Laboratory, Operator Shelter, Jetty Control Building, Central Control Building
• knowledge of specialty works such as Tile work, Painting work, Waterproofing work, Partition work, Suspended Ceiling work, Raised Access Floor work, Glass Door and Window, Blast Resistant Door and Window
• computer application ability (MS Office)
• proficiency in specialized programs such as STAAD, Sketch Up, Autodesk Land Desktop and Earthworks
• technical skills and competencies such as Sub-contract, Method Statement, Review of Construction Schedule, Review of Drawing / Material Schedule, Review of Subcontractor's plan for Manpower / Equipment / Schedule, Setting up Detail Schedule, Progress Management and Analysis, Pending Issue Report, Interface Management, OSBL, Operation and Maintenance, Module, Temporary Facility, CAD, Smart Plant Review, Navisworks, Primavera
