Environment and Sustainability Specialist

Job description

the employer announces its need for an Environment and Sustainability Specialist to work in the Madinah region. The role involves collaborative work with a range of technical specialists on a broad range of projects, enhancing environmental impact assessments, reviewing and evaluating impacts, developing mitigation measures, and supporting the development of Environmental and Social Management Plans on behalf of a government client. The role requires a good understanding of international lender standards, strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability frameworks, experience with Microsoft Office and Excel, policies and procedures, compliance, report writing, and 5 years of experience. The role will be a combination of fieldwork and report writing, based in client offices in Riyadh, KSA. Key responsibilities include assisting in developing and implementing sustainability policies and procedures, conducting environmental assessments and sustainability audits, coordinating and delivering environmental audits and impact assessments, and providing training and guidance to staff on sustainability practices and environmental regulations
