Job description
the employer is seeking a Senior Static Equipment Engineer to join its team in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role involves designing, evaluating, and maintaining static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and storage tanks. You will lead engineering projects, provide technical expertise to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, enhance equipment reliability, mentor junior engineers, and foster a culture of excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- at least 15 years of experience in static equipment engineering in oil and gas
- strong knowledge of ASME, API, and NACE codes and standards with practical application
- proficiency in PVElite, CEASER, and AutoCAD
- demonstrated ability to manage engineering projects and deliver equipment optimization solutions
- exceptional problem‑solving and analytical skills with focus on innovation
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- fluency in English mandatory
- Arabic proficiency an advantage
- commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
- experience mentoring less experienced engineers.
