RTR Quality Control Inspector

Job description

We are seeking an experienced RTR Quality Control Inspector to join our team on a major infrastructure project. The candidate will oversee inspection and testing of Reinforced Thermosetting Resin (RTR), Glassfiber Reinforced Epoxy (GRE), and Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) piping systems. Ensure all construction and installation activities comply with project specifications, international codes, and client engineering standards. Responsibilities: verify incoming RTR/GRE/GRP pipes, fittings, adhesives, and raw materials against certificates, purchase orders, and requirements; inspect joint fit‑ups, adhesive bonding, lamination, wrapping, and curing cycles; witness and document hydrostatic pressure, leak, and visual inspections; verify shaver machine settings, taper angles, and monitor workmanship of RTR bonders and laminators; prepare, review, and maintain QCP documents, ITPs, and daily QIRs; identify non‑conformances, issue NCRs, and follow up on CAPA.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of QC inspection experience on RTR/GRE/GRP piping
• valid qualification/certification from major RTR manufacturers such as Future Pipe Industries or Amiantit
• strong familiarity with international standards like ASME B31.3, ASTM, and client specifications such as Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards SAES-L-105 and SAES-S-070
• proficiency in client Computer‑Based Test (CBT) for non‑metallic piping inspection
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering
