NDT Level III Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified NDT Level III Engineer / Inspector to lead our Non-Destructive Testing operations. In this role, you will serve as the ultimate technical authority for our NDT program. You will be responsible for developing testing procedures, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards, and mentoring and certifying Level I and Level II technicians.

Requirements

• Certifications: Active ASNT, ISO 9712, or NAS410 Level III certification in at least two major methods (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT, ET)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field is preferred (equivalent hands-on industrial experience will be considered)
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of active experience as a certified Level II technician prior to achieving Level III status
• Proven experience writing technical procedures and training personnel
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of materials science, manufacturing/fabrication processes, and defect mechanisms
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, clear technical writing ability, and excellent instructional skills for teaching junior staff
