the employer is seeking an experienced Drilling Engineer to join its client in Saudi Arabia, a leading Oil & Gas company. The role involves designing and executing drilling programs, optimizing drilling performance, and ensuring strict compliance with safety and environmental standards. Collaboration with geologists, reservoir engineers, and drilling teams to develop innovative drilling solutions is essential. Responsibilities: design and implement comprehensive drilling programs; optimize drilling operations to improve performance and reduce costs; work closely with cross-functional teams to create strategic well plans; conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations; analyze drilling performance data and recommend improvements; oversee drilling activities and provide technical guidance to field teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• at least 10 years of experience in drilling engineering within the Oil & Gas industry
• strong understanding of drilling technologies and equipment
• proficiency in drilling software and data interpretation
• excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
• strong teamwork and communication skills
• fluent in English, both written and verbal
• willingness to reside and work in Saudi Arabia and travel to field locations as necessary
