Lead Procurement Engineer

Job description

This role requires a person with experience in the procurement field. Responsibilities include preparing RFQ documents according to project technical specifications, reviewing offers from vendors, preparing a technical compliance statement, and submitting a report to the manager for approval. Additionally, the role involves negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best prices and highest quality according to required specifications, preparing purchase requisitions and agreements, receiving vendors' invoices, and reporting on the delivery of long lead items and completion of works. Furthermore, the role requires evaluating subcontractor/vendor performance after each project completion, sourcing new suppliers, and developing negotiation strategies to secure profitable deals.

Requirements

• Experience in Aramco procurement life cycle
• Knowledge of procurement best practices
• Effective communication skills
• Problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical skill and attention to details
• Strong in MS Office
• Proficient in English
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical)
• 6-9 years of experience in Procurement field
