ICT Engineer

Job description

the employer, a global leader in architecture, consulting, construction engineering, operations and mobility services, seeks an ICT Engineer to join its dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves designing, implementing and maintaining the organization’s ICT infrastructure. Responsibilities include designing robust infrastructure solutions; analyzing and optimizing existing systems for performance, security and efficiency; developing project plans and ensuring timely, on‑budget delivery; collaborating with cross‑functional teams for system integration; conducting system audits and upgrades to meet industry standards; providing technical expertise for complex issue resolution; staying abreast of emerging technologies and proposing improvements; creating technical documentation and training materials; managing vendor relationships and coordinating external partners; participating in disaster recovery planning and supporting critical operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
• minimum 10 years experience in ICT engineering
• strong knowledge of communication and security systems
• proven expertise in ICT infrastructure design and implementation
• proficiency in network protocols and technologies
• experience with cloud computing platforms and services
• familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and implementation
• understanding of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL
• excellent project management skills for leading complex multi‑stakeholder projects
• strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities
• proficiency in system integration techniques
• excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
• relevant ICT or networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CISSP) highly desirable
• ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to local customs
• willingness to work in Riyadh and flexibility to respond to occasional off‑hours emergencies
