Job description

At H&P, our people are our strength. The role involves operating and monitoring drilling equipment to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations. It also includes supervising and directing Floorhands, Derrickhands, and Assistant Drillers during assigned shifts, ensuring well control equipment is properly maintained and operational, and monitoring drilling parameters to make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5-10 years of drilling rig experience with progressive responsibility
• Previous experience as an Assistant Driller or Driller on land drilling rigs
• Valid IWCF or IADC Well Control Certification
• Strong knowledge of drilling operations, rig equipment, and well control principles
• Ability to lead and supervise multicultural rig crews
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and safe work practices.
