Project Manager: Station MEP

Job description

The Project Manager – Station MEP (PMC) leads the end‑to‑end design and build of station MEP works on major rail or complex infrastructure projects. Acts as the client’s primary contact with designers, contractors and authorities, ensuring delivery safely, on time, within budget and to all requirements and standards. Responsibilities include design management, technical assurance, procurement support, construction oversight, testing and commissioning, program‑cost‑risk management, stakeholder coordination and team leadership.

Requirements

• Proficient in managing full MEP design lifecycle from concept to IFC
• proficient in reviewing drawings, calculations and models for HVAC, power, lighting, fire protection, plumbing, vertical transport, ELV/BMS and life‑safety systems
• knowledge of employer requirements, project technical standards, local codes, international standards and authority regulations
• experience preparing and reviewing technical tender documents and evaluating contractor proposals
• experience overseeing site construction, quality and HSE compliance
• proficient in reviewing and approving testing, commissioning plans and as‑built documentation
• proficient in schedule management, critical path identification and risk register maintenance
• proficient in stakeholder and authority coordination
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Master’s degree in Engineering or Project Management advantageous
• professional registration (CEng, PE) desirable
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification advantageous
• minimum 10 years’ experience in MEP engineering for major buildings
