Senior Project Control Engineer

Job description

The role provides guidance and specialized assistance to resolve complex project and cost control issues. Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts status against the baseline schedule, sets up baseline budgets for resources, revenue, and cost with the Project Manager, prepares and updates weekly and monthly cost tracking reports, establishes resource, revenue, and cost projections, performs variance analysis and recommends corrective actions, utilizes historical data for realistic future planning, monitors project progress and conducts Earned Value Management (EV, EAC, ETC), participates in monthly and quarterly reviews, supports the Project Director in finalizing the business plan, conducts performance reviews and personnel development, customizes project control systems to meet requirements, coordinates with other departments for proper cost charging, develops schedules for construction and design projects, supports billing and collection processes, prepares trackers and logs for cost information, supervises and mentors Project Controls engineers as needed, and performs other related responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or Finance
• over 10 years of experience in construction, design or related projects
• proficient PC skills with Project Controls software (PMIS, Oracle PM, Primavera)
• MS Office proficiency and advanced Excel knowledge
• good communication and teamwork
• stakeholder management
• Power BI knowledge and experience
• location in Eastern Region
