Senior Project Controls Manager

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls Manager to lead and manage project controls functions across major construction and infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining robust project controls systems covering planning, scheduling, cost management, risk, change management, progress measurement, forecasting, and reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Director, Commercial, Engineering, Construction, and Client teams to provide accurate and timely information to support decision‑making and ensure projects are delivered in line with approved time, cost, and performance objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
• 15+ years of relevant project controls experience, preferably on major construction, infrastructure, mixed‑use, real estate, or giga‑projects
• Minimum 10 years in major building projects with PMC or Tier 1 contractor
• Strong experience working within a PMC, consultancy, client, or major contractor environment
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, change management, and project reporting
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and strong proficiency in Excel and project reporting tools
• Experience with Power BI, dashboards, and data visualization is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of project controls methodologies, baseline management, forecasting, earned value, and performance measurement
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts, variations, claims, and commercial interfaces
• Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
