Design & Engineering Inspections Manager

Job description

the employer seeks a Design & Engineering Inspections Manager to join the team. Responsible for an extra layer of quality control during construction. Key duties include ensuring statutory NOCs, permits and design approvals are on site; reviewing and approving comments on contractor submittals such as design drawings, shop drawings, materials and alternatives; performing scheduled site inspections to verify compliance with contract documents; conducting unscheduled inspections to ensure adherence to F&E standards, policies and specifications; evaluating and approving the contractor’s method statement for installation and execution; assessing and approving the contractor’s testing and commissioning plan, procedures and method statements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Engineering or Construction or equivalent
• Project Management Qualification (PMI, APM or equivalent)
• 10+ years experience in construction management and supervision support for project implementation and close‑out
