External Shipping Supervisor

Job description

Supervise daily external warehouse operations, ensure order picking, assembling, preparation, and shipping accurately and on time. Manage the shipping team, allocate workforce, monitor performance, and adhere to quality and food safety standards. Coordinate with inventory teams, control stock, distribution, and transportation. Properly handle damaged, expired, or temperature-sensitive products. Prepare shift reports, track performance improvement actions, and identify opportunities to enhance warehouse processes and productivity

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of external warehouse operations and order fulfillment
• experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse operating systems
• experience in supply chain
• team leadership
• good understanding of FIFO/FEFO principles, inventory monitoring, food safety, and warehouse safety
• leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and coordination skills
