Position Overview The Manufacturing Process Engineering Manager is responsible for developing, validating, optimizing and sustaining manufacturing processes across AMP-2 Powertrain operations. The role has the ability to process, production readiness, process control, manufacturing, continuous improvement, and capacity building. The role works through disciplined change implementation, objective launch guides, cross-functional problem solving, and structured transfer of technical ownership to the workforce. Key Responsibilities Manufacturing and Manufacturing Process Strategy • Manufacturing and Manufacturing Process Strategy • Develop process strategies and manufacturing standards. • Lead line balancing and process and manufacturing optimization. • Lead RCA management and elimination A closed loop failure. Lead Process Engineering Support • PE line technicians and engineers build support. Ensure engineering coverage of instruments, gauges and equipment. • Partner with product engineering and other functions related to capability improvement, launch support and NPI. • Own PFMEA, control plans, process capability and validation. • Implement error checking and robust process controls. • Collaborate across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Automation/Robotics, Manufacturing Engineering, EHS, IT/OT, MES, Supply Chain, Product Engineering and suppliers to achieve department goals and objectives. Launch Management and Production Readiness • Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, safe operation, and volume ramp. • Lead readiness reviews and operational escalation. Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence • Drive OEE, reduce cycle time, and eliminate waste. • Lead structured problem solving and cost optimization. TPM Ownership and Industry 4.0 • o Support the TPM function, deploying the pillars of autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance and focused improvement. • Special equipment standards and measurement reports. • OEE, MTBF and MTTR performance parts across the range. • Lead the deployment of Industry 4.0, including MES, IIoT, machine connectivity, historical analytics, and predictive maintenance. High Voltage Safety and Compliance • Enforce HV LOTO continuity, HVIL, and mandatory HV PPE for all work on or near EV powertrain equipment. • Adherence to SASO, Saudi MOL, IEC 60204 and functional safety standards (ISO 13849 / IEC 62061). • Support response to urgency High voltage emergency procedures including thermal insulation and battery related accident procedures. • Achieve and maintain high voltage safety proficiency appropriate to the scope of work. Governance and ramp-up launch • Manage safe operation, run at rate and verify capacity through standard operating procedures and volume ramp. • Prime launch readiness reviews, layered process audits, and process confirmation procedures. • Lead QRQC/War Room escalation during launch and ramp-up phases. • Ensure operational readiness for future powertrain variants and product introductions. Technical Function Strategy, Organization and Investment • Design the integrated operating, coverage and governance model for maintenance, reliability, automation, robotics, parts and manufacturing engineering. • Special technical opex/capex, life cycle risks, obsolete ce and service contracts, vendor performance and buy/buy decisions across the asset base. • Establish EEM, maintainability, reliability, controls and parts acceptance criteria for new equipment and future variants. • Build leadership succession and Saudi technical capabilities pipeline over several years with measurable certifications and transfer of ownership. Launch Governance, Change Control and Operational Readiness • Support FAT/SAT, Commissioning, Equipment Acceptance, Safe Commissioning, Operating Rate, Capability Verification using objective evidence and close down disciplined task list. • Control production, process, software and test changes through documented risk assessment, approvals, validation, audit history and rollback or containment planning. • Participate in readiness reviews, layered process audits, process confirmation, and QRQC/RCCA. Effectively close assigned procedures verified. Safety, Quality, Data Integrity and Compliance • Role specific HV LOTO/HVIL application, machine safety, stored energy isolation, safe electrical work and PPE requirements. • Protect product lineage, calibration instrument condition, test/measurement integrity, document control, and objective evidence ready for audit. • Comply with applicable AMP-2, SASO, Saudi Labor/EHS, IATF 16949, IEC 60204 and functional safety requirements within assigned scope. Saudization, Capacity Transfer and Collaboration • Saudi Arabia builds national capacity through structured OJT, ILU/skill matrices, practical assessment, certification, cross-training, and documented knowledge transfer. • Create technical standards, troubleshooting guides and training materials. • Coach reports directly on the active development of Saudi nationals as a personal KPI
