Electrical Engineer - Buildings / Residential Projects

Job description

the employer is seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in residential building projects to join the team in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and supervising electrical systems in residential buildings, collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant installations. Provide engineering and construction support for electrical systems ensuring adherence to client standards and local regulations. Review electrical designs for conformance with project specifications and operational requirements. Perform electrical load analysis, circuit evaluations, and propose modifications or upgrades as needed. Resolve engineering challenges by preparing calculations and diagrams. Participate in cost estimating for materials, labor, and equipment. Apply relevant codes and standards to ensure high‑quality deliverables. Supervise installation and commissioning on site. Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction. Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 7 to 12 years of engineering experience
• minimum 3 to 5 years experience in power distribution systems, low voltage systems, and building/residential projects
• strong understanding of electrical engineering principles related to power distribution and compliance with national and international standards
• experience collaborating with contractors, consultants, and government authorities preferred
• ability to interpret technical documents including electrical schematics and compliance reports
• effective problem‑solving and organizational skills to support project execution and meet scopes and deadlines
• knowledge of cost estimation and procurement processes for electrical projects preferred
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ability to manage multiple projects and work well within a team.
