Landscape Inspector

Job description

the employer is seeking a Landscape Inspector to join the team. Responsibilities include conducting regular site inspections to verify that landscape construction aligns with approved plans and specifications; monitoring material and workmanship quality throughout the landscaping process; identifying and reporting deviations or defects and recommending corrective actions; ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on site; maintaining accurate records of inspections, reports, and site observations; collaborating with project managers, contractors, and design teams to resolve issues; assisting in preparing progress reports and documentation for management and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field
• at least 3 years of experience in landscape inspection
• strong knowledge of landscape design principles, plants, and construction techniques
• attention to detail and excellent observation skills
• effective communication and report writing abilities
• ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• familiarity with local regulations and standards is a plus.
